Treatment of Jaw Fracture
Early intervention in jaw fractures and facial trauma is the most important factor for treatment success. That is why treatment should be started without wasting any time.
Since the jaw bones have a complex joint system and are exposed to the forces of many muscles in different directions. Given to the fact that it can be inconvenient and risky to leave them to heal on their own.
Interventions to jaw fractures are usually performed by ligating the jaws together and then fixing the fracture line with osteosynthesis plates.
